Publications + Print Offerings

Our publications extend ceremony and collective reflection into print form. From community-made zines to the Cholq’ij Reflection Journal, these offerings hold ancestral knowledge, creative expression, and daily practices that travel beyond the fire circle to accompany our kin in their own journeys.

Zines As Portals: Ritual, Queerness And World Building

Completed 13.0.13.11.11 Jun B’atz | June 2, 2026 | Vesnak (Sacramento, CA)

This zine was born from a gathering at the California Arts & Culture Summit, where mariana Aq'ab'al moscoso and KC Canton — co-visionaries of Toj + Tijax: The Ritual of Myth Making — invited a room full of people to slow down, pick up scraps of paper and image, and make something that had never existed before. Rooted in the belief that zine making is an accessible and liberatory portal for memory, ritual, and future world building, this collection holds what emerged when singular voices became collective — no art skills required, no special materials needed, only what already exists, transformed through intention, creativity, and the radical act of making together.
